1840 Gwinnett Population – from National Archives microfilm series M704, reel 42, frames 127-233 The 1840 and earlier censuses combines free and slave populations into a single tabulation, but gives much less detail. The second page of each 2-page sheet contains the tabulation of enslaved people for each household.
